Pixalate's Methodology: CTV vMVPD App Bundle IDs

To compile this research, Pixalate’s data science team analyzed over 4 billion global open programmatic advertising transactions across over 6,800 unique CTV apps in Q4 2025. Invalid Traffic rates are calculated at the Bundle ID level using the estimated volume of invalid traffic (inclusive of spoofing) as measured by Pixalate.

What are vMVPD Apps?

Virtual Multichannel Video Programming Distribution (vMVPD) applications bundle TV channels into cost-effective “skinny bundles,” a concept derived from traditional MVPDs like Comcast and Dish TV.
