COPPA factors used to determine audience
The Movie Medley app is a multi-category channel packed full of vintage films. The movies included in this app are meant to invoke an emotional response and feelings of nostalgia to the user. There is excitement, unexpected character arcs, intrigue, diverse characters, in-depth plots, and on-the-edge scenes. The visual content and subject matter of the films appeals to adults.
On the Roku App Store landing page for this app, the app description says “How to take your free time? We know the solution! Our channel is pretty good therapy against the blahs and day-to-dayness. What is a better way to lift the spirits than by watching a vintage action cinema?” This description is targeting adults as opposed to children.
